Dr. Amit Das holds the distinguished position of a senior scientist at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e.V. (IPF) in Germany from 2005.  Additionally, he serves as an adjunct professor at Tampere University in Finland.  He earned his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, India in 2004.  As the head of the Research Group "Smart and Functional Elastomers," he has made significant contributions to the field of Rubber Chemistry and Technology.
